Best ever KS2 results for DEMAT academies

2025 saw DEMAT academies record their highest ever KS2 outcomes. 65% of DEMAT pupils achieved the expected standard, an eight percentage point improvement from 2024.

Nationally around 62% of pupils reach the expected standard and in our main local authorities of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk less than 55% of pupils reach this standard.

Whilst we are incredibly pleased for our pupils who have now started secondary school in a much better place we know that more of our pupils can still reach this standard and will continue working with them and their families to ensure they leave school with the foundations they need to build successful futures.
